Ep 6 Lie Lie Again Bonus: Did Nate Go to Space Camp?

Remember SpaceCamp? The 1986 movie with Kate Capshaw, Lea Thompson, Kelly Preston, Larry B. Scott, Joaquin Phoenix when he wanted to be more like his brothers and went by Leaf, Tate Donovan, and Tom Skerritt? It was a movie about a group of kids who went to Space Camp and got to sit in Space Shuttle Atlantis for a test burn, only things went wrong and they were accidentally launched into space. I know. And you thought your day was long.

At any rate this plucky group of survivors rallied together and overcame inexperience to save the day. The movie is the reason why White Plains, New York reminds me of NASA even though it has nothing to do with the agency. Behold the power of film, right?

Bob claims that Nate went to Space Camp. Nate backs him up. Did he? Who knows? Well, Bob and Nate presumably. Did he go? Did he get to see the Space Shuttle? Did he sit in it and accidentally get launched into orbit? I'm guessing no on those last two parts, because if something like that actually happened we'd have heard about it. I have no idea about the other two. What do you think? Find out the truth in this special bonus episode of Balderdash Academy.
