Ep 10, Pt 2: Playwriting in a Pandemic, the Interview with Visiting Professors Andy Bayiates and Genevra Gallo-Bayiates.
Like Bob, Andy and Genevra met their fair share of difficulties with cancelations during the pandemic. Their show, The Lowell Offering, had its premiere at Merrimack Repertory Theater canceled due to the virus. The pandemic also threatened to delay the opening of their new show 45 Plays for America’s First Ladies. Luckily, they transitioned online with the help of Chicago’s Neo-Futurists.
In this interview, we talk about the struggles of playwriting in a pandemic, the process, and the production, plus which U.S. President and First Lady had the most EMO relationship in this next part of Balderdash Academy with visiting Professors Andy Bayiates and Genevra Gallo-Bayiates.
All of Episode 10 in one neat little package you can listen to while driving, or working out, or sitting on the couch with a bag of chips. We don't judge.
