Ep 6, Pt 1: Four Questions with Jeff Peterson
It’s the first installment of Episode 6 with special guest WGME news anchor and all-around great guy Jeff Peterson. We talk about a lot in this installment. We get a Word fo the Day from Molly. Bob wrote the Four Questions about the public art at the Denver International Airport. Art that is the base of a massive conspiracy theory. Yes, seriously.
I love conspiracy theories. I don’t believe any of them, but I love them. It’s the same reason why I love books, TV shows, and movies about the same thing. The Da Vinci Code, X Files, even National Treasure all have the same structure. They are about secrets hiding in plain sight that act as keys to the puzzle that follows. They are all about the brilliant insight of a single mind unlocking a larger mystery. Who doesn’t love that? It’s like action movies that could star a nerd like me.
The thing is that all of the actual conspiracies have been small. They aren’t the multilayered grand stories of media. They are not as epic as people are craving. They are easily explained by the simplest means. They are not overcomplicated regardless of how much you’d like them to be.
Anyway, to paraphrase Arlo Guthrie: Remember the episode? This is a post about the episode. So, buckle up for our quanking Word of the Day and settle in for Four Questions with Sally’s Satan Siren, aggressive square dancing, and a whole lot of Cheetos dust.

P.S. that’s a pigpen cypher. Conspiracies! Have fun.
