Next Week: A Man of Many Titles

Next week Balderdash Academy welcomes longtime friend and actual teacher, David Hanright. David joins our fake school from a real school. He’s is the Performing & Visual Arts Teacher at Thornton Academy, artist, actor, board member of the Maine Drama Council, Maine state representative for the New England Drama Council, sketch writer, comedy playwright, and Artistic Director and Co-founder of Maine Repertory Theater and improviser with the Chamber of Comedy.

We weren’t kidding when we said he was a man of many titles. These are just the titles he listed in his bio. We know for a fact that he is also the Maine Repertory Theater’s program designer, popcorn popper, furniture designer (as in actually design and make the furniture you see around the theater), set designer, videographer, photographer, graphic designer (along with Bob), seat filler, culotte ad designer, room sweeper, clown nose wearer, and cohost of the Maine Rep Update on YouTube. Want to read more about Maine Rep? Of course you do. Look below the video.

Man of many titles and cool hats.

On Maine Repertory Theater

Maine Repertory Theater and the Chamber of Comedy is the place where the faculty of Balderdash Academy became a family. It's the region’s only theater devoted to the creation, support, and development of comedy in the theater and they need your help.
