Ep 9, Pt 1: Four Questions about Dawn of the Dead with David Blair

Today we welcome poet David Blair to Balderdash Academy. David is everything you expect from a poet. He’s engaging, intelligent, passionate, irreverent, and fun as hell. David was great in awarding points to the faculty member with the answer that he liked best–not the right answer, but the best answer.

We begin with our Word of the Day from Molly where she quizzes us on the meaning of lippitude. Were we right with our guesses? Probably not. We rarely are, but at least we were funny.

We then move into Four Questions where we talk about Pittsburgh's most famous export and dive right into zombies at the Monroeville Mall. We have a ghoulishly good time and shamble onto something brilliant.

It happens. Every once in a while we stumble on an amazing idea in our shows. This one is no different. It’s really good. I mean, we almost tried saying “Wisdumb” three times in an attempt to summon Visiting Professor Shawn French to help.

“What’s the idea?”

Good question, fictional student. The idea is “Zombie Annie” the undead musical. Want to hear about it? Watch on. Let’s just say that it’s an undead life for us since the dead will come out, tomorrow.

You can bet your bottom dollar that we had a fantastic time. Check it out and get a nice slice of π in part one with Visiting Professor David Blair.
